On the singlespeed. Took a while to get started, had some mechanicals, Raphael had to abandon ride due to broken rear qr skewer. Did one 17 minute interval coming up Purdon Road. My singlespeed chain was thrashed, one link was missing a side and three links had no rollers. Amazing that with the pressure I was putting on the drivetrain during my interval that the chain stayed in one piece. The South Yuba trail was covered in hikers. It's weird riding this trail during the day on the weekend, i'm used to not seeing anyone there. Accompanied by Supergirl.

On the singlespeed. Feeling more comfortable with my requirement to clean obstacles once considered difficult. Rode out Snow Mountain Ditch from Lower Scotts Lake, the ENTIRE way. Someone has been clearing the trail and the hike-a-bike is flagged from the Lower Scotts Lake trail. Excellent Day!

A stick wedged between his front wheel and fork and catapulted him directly into the ground. I crashed on the last switchback coming down Hallelujah. It was great!

On the singlespeed. Was able to find the correct way down this time! Trucker took us on a VERY steep descending trail. It WAS awesome! Bill pushed a very hard pace coming up Jones Bar Road. Full moon. Rode up Jones Bar Road without lights, it was magical. Accompanied by Billiam and Trucker.

This is a comparison between this week's ride of the UnNamed Trail (in green) and last week's ride of the UnNamed trail (in orange). Route starts in top left hand corner and goes counter clockwise. You can see at about 8 o'clock on the route the diversion of routes. Orange was last week's mistake, green is this week's correct route. At about 5 o'clock you can see the diversion. This week's route is down the steep JB Trail and last week's route shows the flat trail. At 11 o'clock on the route shows that we took the Champion Road ditch back instead of Champion Road.

On the singlespeed. Trail was a little slick from the rain and is a little overgrown and excellent. I got us a little lost heading down Excelsior Ditch Camp Road, took a wrong turn, but amazingly enough it worked out. Chased a 6 point buck down the road, got a little too close to him. Accompanied by Laser Cats, The Flask Man, The Captain, Jim Morrison, Gnat & The Terrible Twos.
